Building Knowledge

A key goal (Goal 3) of the Victorian Deer Control Strategy is to increase awareness, understanding and capacity to control deer.

Actions in the Strategy's implementation plan include enhancing the sharing of knowledge and best practice management of deer.

A number of research initiatives supported by the Deer Control Program are helping to meet these goals and to assist the deer control community.

Partnering with other jurisdictions and sharing knowledge is also an important ongoing action.

The resources below include outcomes of Deer Control Program investment, information sharing initiatives, as well as links to external information and best practice documents.
