Background

The Victorian Deer Control Strategy has a key goal (Goal 3) where awareness, understanding and capacity to control deer is increased.

Actions as part of the strategies implementation plan include enhancing the sharing of knowledge and best practice management of deer.

A number of research initiatives supported by the program have been and are being undertaken by the program to meet these goals and to assist the deer control community.

Partnering with other jurisdictions and sharing knowledge is also an important ongoing action.

These resources are outcomes of the Deer Control Programs investment, information sharing initiatives, or links to external information or practice documents.
