Expanding recreational space in and around Wallan
We are doing a feasibility study to explore the best ways to expand recreational space in and around Wallan in Melbourne’s growing northern suburbs.
Benefits of creating a new park include protecting our native plants and animals, helping tackle climate change, strengthening cultural heritage and offering more accessible open space for healthy outdoor activities.
Where would the park be located?
Land being considered for the new regional park is on the traditional lands of the Woiwurrung People, near Beveridge and Wallan, around 50 kilometres north of Melbourne’s CBD.
