About the park
This 215-hectare park will be an exciting new destination for communities in and around Deanside.
There will be accessible areas for healthy outdoor activities and a focus on providing protection for native flora and fauna. Cool, shady spaces will help address the challenges of climate change.
Where will the park be located?
The park is situated between Deer Park and Melton in Melbourne’s north-west to enable easy access and connect growing communities in surrounding areas.
When will the park be open?

From 14 May to 4 July 2021
Planning and early park infrastructure completed
Mid - 2022
We are working closely with key partners, stakeholders, Traditional Owners and the community to create the new Kororoit Creek, Regional Park.
